Vocational training
Knowledge transfer is a fundamental part of CREALP. We offer training courses for professionals and universities in the fields of water resources and natural risk management.
The aim of these training courses is to equip participants with the skills they need to successfully tackle the problems associated with resource management and natural hazards.
We run courses in Switzerland for private companies and universities (EPFL, UZH, UniBern…), as well as in Peru, Ecuador, China and Cameroon as part of development cooperation projects.
Our training courses
Training in hydrological modeling (RS MINERVE)
CREALP provides training in hydrological and hydraulic modelling using the RS MINERVE modelling software for design offices, university and college students, and public and private authorities. We offer modular, tailor-made training courses in French, English and Spanish, depending on the customer’s needs. Popularization
The main advantage of this course is that it combines relevant, up-to-date scientific knowledge of hydrological and hydraulic modeling with the technical skills needed to use the software effectively and efficiently.

Natural hazard management
The aim of these courses offered by CREALP is to integrate disaster risk management and climate change adaptation. We support specialists and technicians in their professional development in the fundamental aspects of natural hazard governance and mitigation planning.
