Located in the heart of the Alps, our research center is dedicated to the study and preservation of Alpine environments. We strive to better understand the natural dynamics that shape these unique landscapes, while promoting sustainable resource management. Our work focuses on key areas such as hydrology, hydrogeology and natural hazards, in collaboration with various academic, industrial and governmental partners.

In addition to our research work, we are actively involved in the popularization of science. Through a variety of educational projects and awareness-raising events, we make discoveries and issues related to mountains and environmental challenges accessible.
