Rhône Festival

35th Rhône Festival from September 5 to 8, 2024

PROJECT BACKGROUND: The Fêtes du Rhône tell the story of a long history of friendship between France and Switzerland. In the towns along the river, they brought together a fervent community around a popular festival, cultural events and a congress. The committee hopes to use the occasion of these celebrations to create a federative action that will last for years to come. A kind of legacy from the 35th Fêtes du Rhône to be passed on to society and/or to future editions of the Fêtes du Rhône.

PROJECT MISSION

The project calls for the creation of a 3D model of the canton of Valais, including the Chablais vaudois, which will tell the story of the birth of the Rhône, through the projection of different scenes, from the retreat of the glaciers, through the gradual colonization of the plain, the development of human activities, and so on.
