The different stages of a progressive failure in Western Norway
New publication in landslides (Springer), the Journal of the International Consortium on Landslides
Dear colleagues, I’d like to share with you a recent publication showing the different stages of a progressive failure in Western Norway. The publication includes a noteworthy discussion on the growing rates of displacements, climatic controls, remote sensing analysis, risk management, progressive damage and final failure. The publication was led by colleagues at NVE (Lene Kristensen, Lars Blikra), in collaboration with NGU, UniOslo + CREALP, and is available in open access at the moment:
